Filtering Rules on Deer Data in Linear Prediction by Land Cover Features

This project aims to provide suggestions to the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources on data filtering mechanisms to improve consistency across two datasets: Summer Deer Observation (SDO), reported by experts, and Operation Deer Watch (ODW), reported by volunteers. We use two geographical granularities, per county and per square grid, to cluster each observation entry and apply two filter rules: Threshold and P-Value, with tests showing that each of them gives positive feedback.
